New work in progress; I am learning the fine art of painting the figure in oils and am enjoying the process enormously; it's like learning a whole new  language; an infinite language that can only be developed with patience and practice. To begin with I have spent much time on simply making the most of my studio-space - a room above a garage (especially for Suffolk Open Studios). Then there's all the organising of myself, my time, materials and equipment. and so it goes... I am very lucky to have found a teacher in Jack Stephenson; a very accomplished and much admired portrait painter. When I have developed my own skills sufficiently i will add some pictures of my new work.

For now though, I am pleased to offer some of the pictures that I have enjoyed creating in the past year. They are of semi-abstract landscapes and seascapes. I hope you find some joy in my work too. Please let me know if you like them.
